The Aden International Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution is the first of its kind in Aden and the southern governorates in general. The center's concept stems from the universal need among merchants worldwide to resolve their commercial disputes quickly, as time is a crucial factor for any merchant in achieving cumulative profits. Hence, the idea of commercial arbitration arose, in addition to Aden's need, and the country's need for this type of arbitration to resolve commercial and financial disputes, given the urgent circumstances.
The Center operates in accordance with international commercial arbitration regulations, which facilitate the parties to a dispute resolving their case as quickly as possible. It also gives each party the freedom to choose the arbitrator they deem most appropriate for the subject of their dispute, and to specify the time period for concluding the case and issuing a ruling whenever the grounds for doing so exist.
Most importantly, the parties to the dispute are assured that they are treated equally by the arbitration panel, as both have paid the same fees, leaving no room for bias or prejudice. Finally, all parties are guaranteed to clearly communicate their arguments and to have sufficient time to present them in an appropriate environment, free from any pressure.
The Center handles all types of arbitration, including labor, real estate, investment, commercial, banking, engineering, agricultural, maritime, and industrial disputes, as well as concluding settlements and resolving inheritance issues in accordance with Sharia regulations.
